Pecan Pie








    Ingredients                                          Method



      100 g granulated sugar                              Preheat oven to 350 F/ 180c / 160c fan/ gas
      3 large eggs                                        mark 4
      235 ml light corn syrup                             Add granulated sugar and eggs to a large bowl.
                                                          Whisk together until well-combined. Add in
      114 g butter (melted)                               corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir
      1 teaspoon vanilla                                  in pecan halves and pour into unbaked pie

      1 pinch salt                                        crust.
      140 g pecan halves (or pieces)                      Place in oven and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour,
      1 unbaked pie crusts                                depending on your oven. A piece of foil may be
                                                          placed over the top for the last few minutes of
                                                          baking to prevent the edges of the crust from
                                                          becoming over brown.
